LIBRARY
The college library started with the establishment of college in 1963 and has been continuously developing since then. The total area of the library is 4576 sq. ft. which contained the reading room and e-library. Presently library has 62659 books, including references, and books related to competitive exams . In the reading room. 09 newspapers, 03 magazines subscribed for the students. The e-library has 12 computers with internet connection for students where students search for course-related and competitive exam-related resources’ from online open-access resources and also through the national digital library of India. Along with this library has one photocopy machine. The library is partially automated and SOUL3.0 limited version is being used for automation. Presently, the data entry and bar-coding on books in the library has been completed and issuing of books to the first-year student has been started from 2021-22. The separate web page is created on the college website, contains a digital repository of the syllabus, previous year question paper set, online open-access resources, competitive exam resources, etc. The information about various activities conducted by the library is regularly updated on the webpage. Every year free books and stationery are distributed by the library to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students, admitted in the college, as per the rules of the department of higher education, Govt. of M. P.
